Santiago in 2 wheels @ Luz Azul Hostel

Hi guys, i just created this blog (also my first one) for really hostel lovers searchers. Last week I spend the best time of my life @ Santiago de Chile @ Luz Azul Hostel. First I arrived like @7 am to arturo Merino Benitez airport, then catch a bus called Centropuerto, the blue ones for only $1.300 chilean pesos, somethig like USD$2. Strait to downtown, 2 blocks from the hostel in Brazil neigbourhood (I still don't understand why they call it like that?, maybe bcause of the palms and the dark skin chilean bombones taht looks like garotinias...) . I was really exausted and exited at the same time, is 18 hours from Brisbane, fortunately this guys were waiting for me with breakfast, real one, with eggs also, and here is where everything really starts. I open the door and it was a bubble, and oasis in the middle of the desert. I'm a designer, and this pleace really impress me, full of life, warm colors in the walls with exotic paintings and the coolest cheak I had ever now andrea. Ohhh sweet andrea, please marry me!. Then I discovered what I never belived could happened in a hostel....real spring twin size matresses, like in sheraton, but yes in a hostel...o my god i slept like for 22 hours, wake up for water and conitnue sleeping and dreaming on what will aproach.
The next day, evening, or life for me i can say, when I recover from the jetlag I went arround the city in the owner motorbike (specially for amateurs, a Honda XR200), he rent it to me for 2 days, defenetely recomend Santiago in 2 wheels, you avoid rush hour, traffic and crazy "micreros". And also womens take a look at a gringo in motorbike much more than just walking.

I'm only here for 1 day and my heart is pumping as a rush of adrenalin after surfing waimea of 20 feets. After the motorbike Andrea from the staff notice that I was looking for alternative things, no desires of visiting museums and the streets of Santiago, I wanted to go strait to the beach for surfing. So here is where my beats at my heart started when Juane the owner invite me to his other hostel @ Pichilemu, 3 hours to the south coast of Santiago. I felt that I was a really good guy becasue too any good things were appearing in my journey:
first how easy I get to the hostel, then this gordeus place with life music, reggae, hapiness, and also the beds, and meeting this crazy owner that give me the best surfing session of left point of my life.

Yes is true, finally I met the ocean the pacific Ocean. went to Pichilemu with the owner for a weekend of surfing, but this I will finish it in other tiem, now I must catch a plane to Lima Peru, so see ya everybody over there around the world and in the searchers spot.
